Theatre in the World (Poster 1)

ISTA's Theatre in the World posters are designed to help students broaden their perspectives on the role of theatre in communities around the world, while also enhancing their ability to thoughtfully reflect on their engagement with diverse theatre traditions.

Each poster encourages students, as global learners, to approach world theatre practices with an international mindset—engaging with diverse performance conventions and traditions with curiosity, respect, and a deepened appreciation for global diversity.

Poster 1 focuses on theatre’s role in spirituality and faith, community and social cohesion, political commentary and protest, as well as cultural preservation and identity.

The poster is produced on lighter-weight, uncoated classic matte paper. The perfect option to stand the test of time:

• Paper Finishing: Matte, smooth, non-reflective surface.
• Paper Weight: 170 gsm (65 lb), thickness: 0.19 mm (7.5 mils), sturdy and durable.
